General FAQs

Should I get medical advice before starting any services at The Regen Room?
The therapies we offer are for wellness, recovery support, and performance. They are not medical treatments and should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare provider. If you have a medical condition or are undergoing medical treatment, please consult your healthcare provider before starting any wellness therapy.
Do I need a consultation before starting?
Not always, but we do a pre HBOT Session if you have never used HBOT before. This helps us understand your lifestyle, goals, and health history, so we can suggest the best plan for you. In this session, we will also run through our HBOT machine and explain how it works.
Can I combine different therapies?
Yes! Many clients combine treatments (such as mHBOT with Red Light Therapy) for greater benefits. We also offer package options designed to target energy, recovery, and brain health.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your personal goals. Some people feel the benefits after a few sessions, while others use therapies regularly as part of their long-term wellness routine or illness management.
Are packages or discounts available?
Yes — we offer multi-session packages and combination treatments to make ongoing wellness more accessible. If you are living with a long-term illness, recovering from cancer, or genuinely facing financial hardship, please reach out to us for a private conversation. Our goal is to support those who truly need it, while ensuring we can continue to serve our wider community.
Is there any downtime after a session?
No — all our services are non-invasive, safe, and gentle. You can resume normal activities immediately. Some people may feel tired during the day after a session, if you do our advice si to always listen to your body, as that means it’s in recovery mode!
Who can benefit from these services?
Wellness seekers, athletes, busy professionals, and those recovering from challenges such as fatigue, stress, or long-term health conditions.
Can non-Bannatyne members use The Regen Room?
Yes — absolutely! The Regen Room is open to both Bannatyne Health Club members and non-members. You don’t need a gym membership to book or enjoy our services. Everyone is welcome to experience our therapies and start their wellness journey with us.

Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

What is mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy?
HBOT is a safe, non-invasive treatment where you relax in a pressurised chamber while breathing concentrated oxygen. This helps your body absorb more oxygen, supporting energy, recovery, and healing at the cellular level.
What does HBOT feel like?
Most people feel calm and relaxed. You may notice your ears “pop”, like on an aeroplane, but otherwise the session is comfortable and gentle.
How long does a session take?
A standard session lasts 60 minutes. Many clients use the time to read, listen to music, or simply rest.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals. Some people feel benefits after a few sessions, while others choose ongoing treatments — especially athletes, wellness seekers, or those with fatigue.
Is it safe?
Yes — we operate our chamber at 1.5 ATA, HBOT is considered very safe. It’s non-invasive, drug-free, and widely used to support wellness and recovery.
What are the main benefits?
Increased energy, reduced inflammation, faster recovery, improved focus, and overall cellular wellness.
Are there any people who shouldn’t use HBOT?

Yes — while mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) at 1.5 ATA is safe for most people, there are some situations where it should not be used, and others where extra care is needed.

Absolute contraindications (should not use HBOT):

  • Untreated collapsed lung (pneumothorax): the pressure can make this condition worse.
  • Certain chemotherapy drugs: such as doxorubicin or cisplatin, which may interact poorly with extra oxygen.
  • Recent chest surgery: pressure changes can cause complications if the chest hasn’t fully healed.
  • Uncontrolled high fever: this should be brought down before using the chamber.

Relative contraindications (check with your doctor first):

  • Chronic lung conditions, such as COPD or emphysema, which can increase the risk of trapped air in the lungs.
  • Colds, sinus, or ear problems, may make it hard to equalise pressure.
  • Heart problems, such as congestive heart failure, as oxygen can put extra strain on the heart.
  • History of seizures, oxygen can in rare cases lower the seizure threshold.
  • Pregnancy, unless being treated for a life-threatening condition.
  • Past collapsed lung, even if resolved, there may be a higher risk of recurrence.
  • Recent ear surgery or injuries, pressure changes may cause discomfort or damage.
  • Existing cataracts, oxygen therapy may speed up their development in some people.

Red Light Therapy (RLT)

What is red light therapy?
RLT uses safe red and near-infrared light to stimulate energy production in your cells, helping them work more efficiently.
What does it do for the body?
It supports skin health, eases joint pain, reduces inflammation, and helps your body recover more quickly after stress or exercise.
Is red light therapy safe?
Yes — it’s non-invasive, free from UV rays, and safe for regular use. Sessions are often described as warm and relaxing.
How long does a session take?
Each session lasts 20 minutes. Our client usually do 10 mins on their front and 10 mins on their back to ensure maximum exposure.
How often should I use it?
2–3 times per week is common, though some people benefit from daily sessions during periods of stress, fatigue, or recovery.
Can it improve skin?
Yes — studies show it can boost collagen production, reduce fine lines, and improve overall skin tone and texture.
Who uses red light therapy?
Wellness seekers, athletes, those managing pain or inflammation, and people wanting to support their skin and overall vitality.

Vielight Neuro Gamma

What is the Vielight Neuro Gamma?
It’s a wearable device that uses gentle near-infrared light to stimulate brain cells, supporting focus, memory, mood, and mental energy.
How does it work?
The light passes through the nasal passage and skull, reaching brain cells and encouraging mitochondria (your cell’s “batteries”) to produce more energy.
What does a session feel like?
It’s completely painless. You simply wear the lightweight headset for 20 minutes while relaxing.
Who is it for?
Anyone looking to improve focus, mental clarity, and overall brain wellness. It’s especially popular with professionals, wellness seekers, and those recovering from fatigue.
Is it safe?
Yes — it uses low-level light technology that has been well-researched and is safe for regular use.
How many sessions will I need?
Some people feel sharper after just a few sessions, while others build it into their long-term wellness routine.
Can it help with brain fog?
Yes — many clients report clearer thinking, improved focus, and reduced “mental fog”.
